Martin Demant Frederiksen

Martin Demant Frederiksen is Associate Professor in Anthropology at the Department of Culture and Society, Aarhus University. His current work focuses on emptiness, temporality and coastal infrastructures in Croatia and Denmark, and on the cone picking industry in Georgia. He is author of Young Men, Time, and Boredom in the Republic of Georgia (2011), Georgian Portraits: Essays on the Afterlives of a Revolution (with Katrine B. Gotfredsen, 2017) and An Anthropology of Nothing in Particular (2018).
