Kseniia Gavrilova

Kseniia has studied the Russian Arctic since 2014. She has a BA in Russian Language/Literature from St Petersburg State University (2007) and an MA in Social Anthropology from the European University at St Petersburg (2010). In 2016, she received a Russian postgraduate degree, Candidate of Sciences in History, from the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Kunstkamera). Kseniia has participated in several research projects on the Russian North and Far East, including one focused on the impact of the Northern Sea Route transportation infrastructure on local communities of the Arctic coast.
