Jeremy MacClancy

In 1972, Jeremy went to study and live in Oxford . He is still there. 1978, he went to do a year’s fieldwork in the South Pacific. But, out of a sense of academic obligation, stayed four years. He’s since fieldworked among repopulators in the Pyrenean foothills and ageing hippies in the West of Ireland. These days he spends time with other migrants in the mountains above Alicante. He has been Professor at Oxford Brookes for a very long time. But he still enjoys it.
