Convening panel and speaking at ASA2023 on ‘Global Echoes of War’

Together with Taras Fedirko (University of Glasgow), Volodymyr Artiukh is convening the panel Global Echoes of War at the ASA2023 conference An Unwell World? Anthropology in a Speculative Mode, being held at SOAS on 11-14 Apr 2023. Volodymyr will also present a paper on ‘Hospitality as virtue, hospitality as industry: Perception and reception of Ukrainian refugees in Romania’, and Dominic Martin will present a paper on ‘”Why not sign up for the SVO? You’re going to die anyway – as shit or as a hero?”: Conversations with a Russian patriot’.
