The project is committed to providing an accessible web presence that gives members of the public access to information and data produced by our staff members. We offer alternative formats for pages on this website. To request an alternative format please contact emptiness@anthro.ox.ac.uk. We normally offer the following alternative formats:
- Braille
- Large Print
We use the Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit (ARACU) at the University of Oxford to convert materials into Braille and, while we aim to fulfill your request within 30 working days, production turnaround times will depend on their workload at the time of request.
Making changes to your operating system

A description of every image is provided, either in the alt tag or on the page itself.
Links
We try to ensure that link text makes sense out of context and that it accurately describes the pages it points to. You can use the tab key on your keyboard (as well as your mouse) to move from consecutive link to link.
